The contact points of the Coalition of Trade Ministers on Climate meet to prepare for the second Ministerial meeting

On Friday, 2 February 2024, the Contact Points of the Coalition of Trade Ministers on Climate met to prepare for the second Ministerial meeting that will take place ahead of MC13. They reviewed the collective efforts, achievements, and priorities for the future, including the Coalition's engagement in the COP28, efforts to break silos between trade, finance, and climate communities, and future actions that Ministers can take individually and collectively.

The Coalition Co-lead contact points also informed the members that the Forum on Trade, Environment & the SDGs (TESS) will act as the Coalition’s Secretariat for the duration of their term.

The Coalition’s second Ministerial meeting will take place on Sunday, 25 February 2024, from 11h00 – 12h30 pm at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre in the margins of the 13th WTO Ministerial Conference.
